Aging Well: Lessons from Old People

Ever wonder what it takes to live a long and happy life? Well, the answer has been right in front of us the entire time: just observe a happy, long-living person!

This nugget of knowledge explores ways of being that old people are really good at, but other age groups struggle with. To be clear my definition of old is 80+ years old. We have people living WAY longer than ever before—some even surpass a century. That’s seriously a lot of years to be on the planet for one person.

I was inspired to do this vlog after reading Being Mortal by Atul Gawande. With the increase of palliative care in the medical industry, getting clear on what it takes to live the life you love--especially when illness strikes and your world is turned upside down--is becoming an essential conversation between doctors and patients.
